“How’d you guess?” She smirked, obviously joking as she grew sarcastic. “No, they’re my friends but at the same time they’re really not. I just get roped in with them a lot because we all live in the same area and everyone’s dad drives a Mercedes. It’s stupid really. The other girls don’t even like each other that much, it’s all a money thing.” Sophia shrugged her shoulders as she let out a sigh. “Can’t wait to get out of here in the fall.” The brunette said softly, running her fingers through her long hair before sitting up straight again. It was a question she’d been asked before but never in that way or form someone who’s intentions weren’t just to sleep with her. “Uh, sure, I mean I don’t see why not.” Soph tried her best to play it cool, like she was just having a normal conversation instead of accepting an invitation to stay over at someone’s house.

“Mere study.” He shrugged with a light grin, knowing full well that she had been joking. Jasper turned his head to look at her for just a millisecond before looking back up at the ceiling. “That’s quite ironic, isn’t it? You can just imagine what they’d be when they grow up and realize money isn’t everything.” Speaking of irony, the sheer words that had been coming out of his mouth was another example of it. To Jas, money was everything. It was what made the world go round, something you can never change his mind about. He even drove a Chrysler SRT8, but he hoped she hadn’t seen it. Maybe she’d think him just like her friends, and cease speaking to him. Biting his bottom lip in weariness, he avoided her gaze, though he felt it like a pestering consort. “Right. Lupe will probably be jealous but— she’ll get over it.” He chuckled lightly.
