“If I really want to be, yes.” Sophia smirked, she’d only grown more and more comfortable as the night when on because she’d never act so sarcastic with someone she’d just met. Her initial worries and qualms about Jasper had been wiped away, making for much easier conversation. This was especially true considering she’d agreed to spend the night at his place. Out of character, though at this point Sophia was glad to have calmed down and ceased being so nervous around the raven haired boy. Sophia shrugged, intrigued by his unfinished sentence though she didn’t dare ask what he was going to say. Everything had been going so well and she didn’t want them to take two steps back after having moved along. “Oh, well I hope she doesn’t mind me too much. I mean I could always just leave.” She said, voice getting softer as she worried a small bit that his housemaid wouldn’t be a big fan.
“I can see that.” He realized with a light grin, noticing the smirk that had been developing round her lips. It was exhilarating to see that she had began to feel relaxed round each other, as if he hadn’t been a menacing character when she bought him cigarettes. Speaking of those, he slipped them out of his pocket with simplicity, emerald hues of carelessness sliding one of the cancer sticks out of the well recognized box, lips wrapping round it– a familiar gesture, almost like breathing. The process had come so easy to him, it was like a daily necessity. He’d smoke this pack and it would be gone tomorrow morning. She needn’t see that, though. “She won’t. I’ll tell her your a friend of a friend of a friend that needs a place to stay, and then she won’t have to worry about you being my girlfriend and all. Not that you are but… she’s a paranoiac.” He gave a small shrug, letting his lighter tumble out of his pocket.
