The longest recorded period someone has gone without sleep was over 18 days.” Sophia stated one of the facts she knew, already embarrassing herself because this was just the beginning of her odd statements. She busied her hands with a loose thread on one of the many pillows, twisting it around her finger until she ran out of string only to repeat the process. “You could always thank us both or simply iPhones in general for having short battery lives.” She spoke softly, a small smirk etched on her lips as she grew sarcastic and witty like she had been downstairs. “Thanks again for letting me stay over, you didn’t have to do that.”
“Thanks for the lesson, Sheldon Cooper.” He laid his head on his pillow before laughing, reaching out to touch a strand of her hair, as he had done downstairs. “I wonder who went eighteen days without sleeping for a stupid place in the Guinness book of World Records.” He then proceeded to stroke her hair, tucking it behind her ear or playing with it. “Yeah, save the thank you for whoever cares. Hey, I’ve an idea. You should tell Lupe the same thing you just told me… then we can see how she reacts.” He fiddled with the edges of her hair then, contemplating on whether or not his housemaid would approve of her after she expressed her gratitude later on in the morn.
