Kites AU || Jasper and Victoria

     Three years it has been since he looked upon her face. He wanted to speak to her, congratulate her for being married, but it only made him feel uncomfortable. Jasper stood there, in his white tuxedo and leather white shoes– which he thought was almost too pure considering his reputation– but his attention was certainly not placed on his bride-to-be. Oh no, he had eyes for all but her. It was Victoria Simmons with whom he felt his true love for. That smile, how could he have ever forgotten that smile? It was almost a shock to know that he had let her go, just so he could be with the son of a large casino owner. He’d have to speak to her later, since Jasper’s wife and Victoria’s husband were planning on having their honeymoon the same day, and the same place—- on a boat.

        After their wedding had been over, it took him so much strength to pay attention to his wife. She had been striving to speak to him, but all he could give her were nods and smiles, and kisses on occasion. All he had to do was keep pretending, and that had already been too easy for him. He had it all, with Gina, but Victoria was doing it again. She was affecting him, messing him up. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. Once he got her attention, he shot her a smile, hoping she’d notice. Certainly she had to know that they were once married.
