“You talk about her like she’s dead. I’m sure she’s still living.” Sophia laughed softly before rolling her eyes. It wasn’t a normal conversation topic but nothing was ever normal when it came to those two. The brunette knew countless facts and when it doubt she brought them up to bridge a gap in conversation. “I guess, I just didn’t want to be embarrassed if I said everything and then you didn’t think the same way.” She shrugged, mumbling through her sentence. “My parents?” Sophia furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. “What do they have to do with anything?”
“Are you sure she’s still living? She could be as dead as glam rock.” He cocked an eyebrow, though he was surprised at the comment. “So you were waiting for me to make the next move?” That didn’t surprise him. Girls always wanted the other to make the first move, and utter their feelings as if they were some sort of sensitive, fragile nine year old. It never came as a shock to him, which is why he would separate entirely from the girl when they were just about to commit to each other. “Your parents… I thought they didn’t want you to date until you were like, thirty or somethin’. Y'know— since you’re rich as shit and—…” He shook his head. “Forget it.”
