“I would’ve done something eventually.” Sophia rolled her eyes, smirking as she did so. Although she was always smiling, being around him made it even harder to frown. Her cheeks would often hurt when she went home after seeing him, parents often giving her a sideways look when she walked through the door with a wide grin on her face and flushed cheeks. They’d yet to meet the guy she’d grown very fond of, she didn’t know how to perfectly time everything and make sure that they’d like him as much as she did. The look on his face and the sudden proximity change caused the brunette to beam before brining her lip between her teeth. Shyness instantly fading away as she reached up on the tips of her toes to press her lips to his.
“Yeah, yeah.” He said, though he knew that maybe that was a bit of a lie. Jasper never really intended to have her glued to him, but he kind of liked it. Being the selfish bastard he was, it might have been more about him than about anything else. He needed comfort, and she was always there to give it to him. It wasn’t his fault that he had been falling for her, either. He had done it once, and it turned out to be the worst thing in the world, but his mother had always told him to quit the pessimistic behavior and start acting like a real adult. But mom, real adults are all pessimistic, he wanted to tell her. Either way, he just wanted to keep her happy, so she can keep him happy. Her abrupt kiss only made him smile through it all, and he moved his lips in sync with hers, sinking his teeth into her bottom lip before pulling back slightly. He only laughed softly at that, and pressed himself closer to her.
