Sophia stared quizically at the dark haired male that was sat in front of her, head tilted to the left as she studied his features. Something definitely seemed off but she couldn’t tell what it was just yet. “You look like you’ve been for breakfast at the heartbreak hotel.” The brunette said, deciding to address the elephant in the room.

Her statement drove him into a state of confusion. Heartbreak, an emotion he despised showing. However, she wasn’t as foolish as he would have thought. Instead of addressing the situation, he tried to relieve her of the worry with a simple joke. “Very poetic.” He quipped, scratching the back of his neck uncomfortably. “Where did that come from?”
