She nervously started to wring her hands in her lap, pulling roughly at her fingers as she sat there in shock. It was her worst nightmare coming true, one she always believed would never truly happen because it was a figment of her imagination. “I don’t want anyone else.” Sophia said softly, her vision blurring from the tears in her eyes.
Her words only triggered his woe. Leaving her this way wasn’t his first option.
